Ingredients

Instructions

  • Whip up the cream cheese in a stand mixer or with an electric hand mixer.
  • Smash the bananas and blend them with the already whipped cream cheese.
  • Mix in a whole container of Cool Whip.
  • Add the powdered sugar and instant pudding mix.
  • Pour the milk into the mixture, and whisk everything together well.
  • Add a layer of vanilla wafers in the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish
  • Spread a layer of pudding on top of the wafers. Save half the pudding back for the top layer.
  • Scatter a second layer of vanilla wafers on top of the pudding layer.
  • Add your next layer of vanilla pudding on top.
  • Sprinkle a final layer of Nilla wafers on top of the pudding.* Some people like to crush them up for the top, but I usually just leave them whole.
  • Cover your no bake banana pudding with plastic wrap, and let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or until the pudding has thickened and set.
  • Serve with a big dollop of whipped cream on top.

Notes

*You can easily smash the bananas with a mixer, either handheld or stand. Or you can use a small bowl and a fork instead.
*Some people like to add a layer of whipped cream on top, but I prefer a third layer of cookies, and then I add whipped cream to each individual serving.
How should you store banana pudding?
Cover the pudding with plastic wrap, and store it in the fridge for up to 3-4 days after making it. Around here, it usually gets gobbled up well before that point!
