— Peach Purée — Sugar

They're easy to make with minimal ingredients.

Nothing beats a piece of toast lathered thick with peach freezer jam.

Enjoy the taste of fresh peaches all winter long!

Wash, peel, and mash or purée the peaches.

Combine 1 cup peach purée and 1 cup sugar in a large stock pot; bring the mixture to a boil for about 4 minutes, stirring constantly.

Repeat the above (steps 2 and 3) three more times.

Remove from heat and let the jam sit for about 10 minutes, skimming any foam off the top of the jam.

Pour the jam into a cake pan, cover, and let stand for 3+ hours. As it cools, it will begin to set and jell.

Decide whether you want to can or freeze your peach preserves. I chose to freeze mine.

Serve and enjoy!
