– APPLES – CANE SUGAR – LIGHT BROWN SUGAR – CORN STARCH – CINNAMON  – NUTMEG – SOUR CREAM – LEMON JUICE – SALTED BUTTER

Ingredients

CORE, PEEL, AND SLICE THE APPLES.

MIX TOGETHER THE SUGAR, BROWN SUGAR, CORN STARCH, CINNAMON, AND NUTMEG.

ADD THE SUGAR MIXTURE, SOUR CREAM, AND LEMON JUICE TO THE APPLES, MIXING WELL.

POUR THE APPLE MIXTURE INTO A GREASED BAKING DISH, TOPPING WITH SLICED BUTTER.

BAKE THE APPLES AT 375°F FOR ABOUT 30-45 MINUTES, OR UNTIL TENDER, SOFT, AND BUBBLY.
